These consolidated tariffs, approved under the Copyright Act, provide a clear framework for licensing the use of music and audio-visual works across various business categories and sectors. They are designed to ensure fair compensation for creators while offering transparency and predictability for music and audiovisual users.
We encourage all businesses that play, broadcast, perform, or otherwise use music and audiovisual content in their operations to review the new tariffs and note their applicable licensing obligations.
