If you are an Author, Composer, Arranger, Publisher, Producer, and Performer of Sound Recordings and Musical Works as well as Scriptwriter, Directors, Producers, and Performer (Actor/Actress) of Audio-Visual Works, including film and cinematographic creations, joining a Collective Management Organization (CMO) is the most critical step you can take to protect your rights and ensure you get paid when your work is used.
Additionally, the society registers Reprographic and Visual Arts Rights Holders on an appointment basis

Step 1: Start Your Digital Journey
The entire process begins on our official website. This ensures all your data is captured accurately and securely in our system.

- Navigate to the Membership Page: Look for the dedicated link for Membership.
- Create Your Account: You will be prompted to set up a new membership profile. Fill in all your details on the portal carefully.
Step 2: Gather Your Required Documents (Soft Copies)
To fast-track the verification process, please ensure you have the following documents ready in soft copy (e.g., PDF, JPEG) to upload directly to the portal:
| Identity | Copy of a valid National Identity Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate. | For legal verification of the rights holder. |
| Tax Compliance | Copy of an I-Tax Updated Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN Certificate. | Mandatory for all legally recognized income distribution. |

| Work Proof | Copies of commercially published recording.

Special Note for Corporate Applicants
If you are registering an entity (e.g., a music production company, publisher, or film company), please note these crucial additional requirements:
- Authorized Signatory: The entity must designate an authorized signatory or representative empowered to execute this agreement on its behalf.
- Proof of Authorization: PAVRISK may request proof of this authorization, such as a Board Resolution or a formal Power of Attorney.
- Directors List: You are required to provide a certified list of directors of the corporate entity.
Step 3: Upload and Finalize
Once you have created your account and collected your documents, simply follow the remaining instructions on the portal to upload the files and complete your application submission.
